Rockstar Games Explains Why ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Will Have DLC

‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ coming out October 26th. . .

Last year, Rockstar Games officially cancelled plans for singe-player story expansions of Grand Theft Auto V. This didn’t sit too well with many players of the 5-year-old video game; but it still hasn’t stopped their insane revenue from GTA Online. Well, this week, parent company, Take-Two Interactive, spoke about plans for DLC with Red Dead Redemption 2.

Karl Slatoff revealed that the company sees themselves continuing downloadable content into immediate future titles, referencing RDR2. Considering Grand Theft Auto V’s multiplayer mode, GTA Online, has generated sales for the title to become the biggest selling console video this decade, it’s unlikely that Rockstar would shift focus only to single-player action. So, we’re expecting a big announcement next week for the online side of things, when we get a gameplay look during e3.

Let us know below if you think RDR2 will generate the same interest GTA Online has maintained.
