Out spring 2018!
When news surfaced that Red Dead Redemption 2 wasn’t arriving this fall, our excitement for fourth quarter releases hasn’t’ been the same. Luckily, Rockstar Games is looking ahead to next spring, as they share the next trailer for the follow-up to their beloved 2010 open-world Western.
In the new trailer, we finally get new storyline details, as we’ll be playing as Arthur Morgan from the Van der Linde gang in numerous affairs. Heist missions are also hinted, as Morgan will look to rob, fight and steal across the country to survive; which we believe exclusive content could be announced after its release in a few months. The main take away that we got from the clip, was that the game is indeed a prequel and will take place a few years before the original title.
Considering the debut trailer released exactly a year ago, we’re assuming Rockstar is looking to deploy everything in 2018 for this title, before the imminent announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6 at e3 next summer in Los Angeles. Take a look at the full trailer below; which features arrows, dual wield guns, alligators and bears in the extremely large open world setting.
