GT Sport reveal is happening next week!
We thought Sony and developer Polyphony Digital had forgot about their fans, because news updates for Gran Turismo Sport had become very scarce over the last few months.
However, lead-producer, Kazunori Yamauchi, has formally announced when the next installment of the GT franchise will officially debut – including details on the FIA Gran Turismo Championship Cups.
This May 19th at 1:45pm ET, a live event to showcase the first gameplay footage of GT Sport will take place in London. Those on hand will also be able to try out the title for the first time; but Sony hasn’t given any indication if they’ll have a live PlayStation VR demo on hand for the two-day event.
The schedule for next Thursday:
• 10:45am PT – 11:00am PT: Run down of the day’s events, news and a showcase of the brand new GT SPORT trailer.
• 11:00am PT – 12:30pm PT: Nations Cup Pre-Season Test and the Manufacturer Fan Cup Pre-Season Test of the FIA Gran Turismo Championships:
– The Manufacturer Fan Cup Pre-Season Test
– The Nations Cup Pre-Season Test
• 12:30pm BST – 1:00pm PT: Trophy ceremonies [1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each cup]
With GT7 still in limbo, look for SPORT on PlayStation 4 this October 12, 2016.
