PS5 next year. . .
Last week, Sony and Microsoft announced a gaming partnership for cloud gaming, which many are already assuming will lead to the inevitable end of gaming consoles. With Google and Amazon beginning cloud games, Sony is readying their next console, the PlayStation 5.
This week, Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki shared a clip of Sony’s performance comparison between the current PlayStation 4 Pro and the PlayStation 5. Unlike the PS4 Pro, which still features load times, the PS5 has zero load time, which is shown in the video. Mochizuki also teased the company moving past the living room, saying “anytime, anywhere, without disconnections.”
