Pre-order Final Fantasy XV Now!
Well, after many years of patiently waiting, it’s finally official! Final Fantasy XV is finally releasing this September 30th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. During their mysterious event earlier this week, the legendary Hironobu Sakaguchi showed off some new combat for the upcoming title – which featured chocobo riding, updated battle mechanics, magic, and how Titan is summoned.
Before leaving the stage, he also unveiled a Deluxe Edition, which contains both Final Fantasy XV and its movie in limited quantities. However, an Ultimate Collector’s was also uncovered and will run gamers $270 dollars; which includes everything from the Deluxe Edition, a hardcover art book, a soundtrack, an exclusive Play Arts Kai Noctis figure, and four in-game item packs.
Square soon also pulled back the curtain on a Final Fantasy full-length feature film, entitled Kingsglaive. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment deferred a theatrical release and will instead make it available for streaming and downloading worldwide. The CGI film is set to star Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, alongside Game of Thrones’ actors Lena Headey and Sean Bean.
If you can’t wait throughout the entire summer to get your long-awaited proper next-gen fix of Final Fantasy, a new Platinum Demo is available now on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as you’ll play as a child Noctis, traveling the world with new friend, Carbunle.
