Today is the official roll-out release of the 2012 Xbox LIVE Fall Dashboard Update as every Gold subscriber should be prompted to an update upon signing on Live. Finally landing on the 7-year old Xbox 360 will be the incorporation of the Windows Internet Explorer browser that will support HTML5 videos not seen by those of you in the beta. Zune Video Marketplace has been renamed Xbox Video including the combination of the TV & Movies category along with a specific Sports destination in the refreshed dashboard.
Headlining the update will be the launch of Xbox Music (formerly Zune Music Pass) seen in the video above which will have a $9.99 monthly fee or $99.99 annual fee for unlimited streaming of up to 30 million songs in its Pardora/Spotify like service.
Along with unlimited streaming from its large library, the service also features tablet, PC, phone cloud connection, Smart DJ to recommend stations based on your listens, custom playlist, offline listening with the function of downloading songs and a music store to buy full albums from your favorite artist. The premium service is currently available for a 30-day free trial for those of you interested.
