PlayStation 5’s ‘The Future of Gaming’ Live Event

Live. . .

The PlayStation 5 Future of Gaming 2020 live event is finally here. Opting to not participate in e3 this year, Sony decided to branch off on its own to share with the world it’s much-anticipated next-generation system. It’s unclear what titles are going to be unveiled, but many are speculating a new Uncharted game.

Considering Microsoft has itself set up to launch with Halo: Infinite on Xbox Series X, anything short of a killer-app will be underwhelming in our opinion. Hopefully there’s also first in-game footage of popular pending sports title Madden 21 and NBA 2K21 from the event.

Take a look at PlayStation 5 Future of Gaming below.

Statement from Sony for the Show:

Now that the event is confirmed for June 11, I wanted to add that this pre-taped program will be broadcast at 1080p and 30 frames per second. This eased the show’s production process during a time when many of our team and developers are working from home. The games you’ll see on Thursday will look even better when you play them on PS5 with a 4K TV, as you’d expect.

It’s also best if you watch while wearing headphones, if you can — there’s some cool audio work in the show, and it might be harder to appreciate if it’s pumped through your phone or laptop speakers.
