Dated software titles arrive back in the top 10 US sales for the month of April.
6 months into the next-generation and we’re confused as ever on which console will win the US market. While we still expect Sony to keep its huge gap ahead of Microsoft in worldwide sales, the April NPD sales may suggest why the PlayStation 4 saw a price match by the Xbox One earlier this week. With the lack of titles hindering purchases for both consoles in the current drought, a variety of dated titles resurfaced back into the top 10 most purchases games.
An interesting note however is inFAMOUS Second Son not appearing in this month’s NPD, after debuting behind Titanfall; as well as non-charting spots for Kinect Sports Rivals and MLB 14: The Show.
