For a rare occasion, Sony finishes as no. 2
According to NPD results, Xbox One finished as the highest selling console for the month of April, seeing a 63% increase. While Microsoft briefly boasted about their accomplishment, Sony issued a press release saying that PlayStation 4 still has more cumulative worldwide sales over its competitor since 2013. On the software side of things, to no surprise, Mortal Kombat X finished as the no. 1 selling video game for the month by a landslide. The resurrection of the series seen by many is the best game of the franchise and the response in retail and digital has proven some claims.
