Earlier today, Ubisoft held their annual fourth quarter financial call which they announced Assassin’s Creed 3 sold $3.5M copies its first week “many” times. CEO, Yves Guillemot revealed some excited news of the most anticipated game for 2013 not named GTAV, Watch Dogs would release in the fiscal year 2013. He announced it as a “AAA” title which means it possibly could be their big 4th quarter releases for next year.
Watch Dogs was talk of the e3 this year with Rockstar failing to give any information for Grand Theft Auto 5; and with the lack of new franchises announced with replay value, Ubisoft seized the moment and previewed the game in a nearly 10-minute trailer having the entire L.A. Live area (myself included) in awe.
In the trailer (shown from PC which you can check after the jump) we saw a Grand Theft Auto like open-world action experience with updated “next-gen” graphics that hadn’t been seen this generation as the game was also announced for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
