We’d be lying if we said we weren’t obsessed with FIFA ’14 right now. After winning a few tournaments, the packs we got free weren’t enough and our Ultimate Team was lowkey kind of ass. None of the players had good chemistry, the manager was lackluster, and we didn’t have anyone with an 80 rating. How could we ever win with a card like that?
So we took it to drastic measures. We went ham buying FIFA points and crossed our fingers in hopes to get beastmode players like Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale in a pack.
Unfortunately, our luck proved to be bad about 60% of the time, and we completely dismantled the players we stored in club, quick selling and then listing others in Transfer Market for cheap. After selling a few of the bums the premium gold packs gave us, we started accumulating more coins, especially after winning a few tournaments. Now, here we are, two weeks after the game was released, sitting with a pretty good squad.
At least ones we feel comfortable playing with.

First of all, welcome to Brighton Mafia. The Arsène Wenger-led squad we’re fucking with at the moment. As you can see, we’re not balling out too hard in these FIFA streets just yet, but the Mafia is on its way. One or two more A-list players and it’s a wrap.
We’ve actually swapped starting lineups so much, we only have a few players from the original team anymore. Most of who we got now, we did our homework on and tried to pick so we could score some of those hidden gems. Taking into account chemistry styles and link factors, we did what we could with what we could afford. Not to mention, we actually went after a few cats we wanted our own hybrid squad.
At strikers, we have Chicharrito and Higuain balling up top, with Paulihno, Diego, Guarin, and De Bruyne holding down the midfield. For defenders, we like what Felipe Santana and Gibbs bring to the table, but our weakness is that RB paired up with De Jesus. The goalie Jefferson is also a certified BEAST. There’s been some games that could have been complete blowouts (and downright embarrassments) if it wasn’t for him. And we haven’t even added any chemistry style consumables to him either.
Our bench isn’t too bad either. We’ve got Ozbiliz (!!!), Mangala, Roberto Firmino, Martinez (from Colombia) and Pablo Hernandez (from Spain) all chilling in the cut. The only thing that fucks it up is the fact that they don’t all link up with the starting lineup, so the chemistry significantly drops when someone gets hurt for a few games.
