Those of you who will be purchasing the Xbox One next month, should take a very close look at one of the first official video release showcasing the new dashboard app for the all new improved friends app. Major Nelson from the Xbox Live team showcases the app (which is somewhat similar to a twitter migration) with finally real-time updates of what your online buddies are currently doing.
New to Xbox Live will be “favorites”, which you can add in your core group of gamers to a list in comparison to scrolling through hundreds of names to find a profile. “Followers” is shown, which is not required to be on a person’s friends list if you want to keep tabs on a professional gamer, celebrity or anyone else to stalk. The new multiplayer set up on Xbox One sees a closer look, which features an updated system featuring “smart match”, dedicated servers, and skype to name a few.
