Fox Show; to see results in the heavy competitive Thursday lineup. Community also isn’t on NBC’s Thursday night shows this fall but will be back this spring. TMJFS has been arguably the funniest show for NBC’s lineup, but its 9pm airtime has hindered its ratings some. Michael J. Fox returns to TV for the first time in over a decade since his popular Spin City series from the 90s.
Betsy Brandt (Marie from Breaking Bad) plays the role his wife, as Mike is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The show takes place in NYC, with Michael trying to get his life back to normal working as a local newscaster and struggling with balancing his career and family. Along with 3 crazy children, horny co-workers and even hornier neighbors, the Michael J. Fox has tons of humor packed into its 20+ minute episodes every week.
