She fooled everyone!
Being an Adele impersonator must pay some serious bucks because there are some women out there trying to get jobs off of it. It’s apparent on this Graham Norton skit where some were contacted to audition for a role. The twist? They brought the real Adele (with a few face modifications and the name Jenny) to join the rest of the impersonators and give them the surprise of a lifetime.
Nobody really noticed the Adele was real throughout the audition, as she changed the way she talked and acted like she was nervous before hitting the stage. It wasn’t until she got on the microphone that she gave away her cover, with some of the impersonators questioning whether it was her or not. By the time she finished singing “Make You Feel My Love,” everyone was convinced it was her and the tears started flowing.
