Adele’s “25” Album Will Not Be On Streaming Services

No Apple Music, No Spotify

When you load up your preferred streaming service tonight to save some of the new albums that are dropping at midnight, one that will be omitted from the list, and frankly one of the biggest albums of the past five years, will be Adele‘s 25.

The UK singer has decided to leave it off platforms like Spotify and Apple Music (because you’re not subscribed to TIDAL and/or Google Play Music, right?) in hopes that spikes first week sales, which are projected to be upwards of 2.5 million. Only 24 hours before the release of the highly anticipated record did folks get confirmation about the status, with Adele reported to have been personally involved in the decision. Don’t think the album won’t ever be on there (even though there’s a possibility), you’ll just have to wait a minute for it to happen.

Adele has already gone platinum with “Hello,” so we can only imagine what she’ll do first week without streaming services. We’re assuming people will rush to purchase the CD at retailers, in what may be the biggest selling album of the year.

Oh, and that’s just first week. We’re sure the album will chart through the winter and well into the spring. Get ready for the UK singer to dominate with a wrath unseen in the modern era.
