This is so hard to pass up on
Over the last year, one of our favorite devices has been Google’s USB-based digital media player, Chromecast. Although mobile apps enabled with it aren’t in a large selection just yet, we still prefer it in comparison to Roku and others trying to tap into the new way of watching TV. Amazon launched their fireTV set-top box last spring, which had a steep $99 price point. While consumers are yet to gravitate towards the product in the mainstream, it’s surprisingly performed better than its Android smartphone.

The online retailer giant has now revealed their next product, Fire TV Stick. Amazon Prime members will be able to purchase the stick now $19 until October 29th, with all other members having the option to purchase for $39. We’re not fans of the remote, but one of the eye-raisers the product features is dual-band WiFi network capability. The dual-core processor offers a GB of ram (nearly double its competitor) and a whopping 8 GB of flash storage memory – in comparison to 2GB the Chromecast has.
