More and more apps seems to be catering to the digital artist who’s on the go, as we’ve seen virtual DJ setup’s for your phone, garage band for mobile and now, one for the producer at heart. Drummer is less about making beats on some Fruity Loops shit, and more about the drum patterns you can partner with someone else.
As you can see in the video, a person playing guitar is helped by the app, which you can switch the snare, kick drum, hi hat and other things to make a full composition. Acoustic no more!
The minimalistic idea was conceived by Pasquale D’Silva (who made a beat boxing app called Keezy too) and is made for the people who can’t figure out a Roland TR8 music machine, but still have love for drums and music. You can’t export your drum patterns quite yet either, but as the popularity keeps growing, expect them to implement a way to share them soon.
