When you wake up tomorrow and log into Netflix, you will see Aziz Ansari‘s new comedy Master of None live on the streaming platform. Aziz could have easily taken it to a network but decided to keep things in-house, consider they’ve hosted his comedy specials.
During his visit on The Tonight Show, he talked to Jimmy Fallon about how the show came about and why he had to cast his own parents to play the mom and dad on show. He wasn’t feeling the people coming in for auditions too much, so he asked his folks if they’d do it and they agreed. Now with reviews coming out, it seems as if his dad is gaining popularity and wants to be in commercials.
