I Decided
Before his makes his first ever appearance on Saturday Night Live later this evening, Big Sean visited The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and chopped it up with the late night host. During their talk, Sean recalled his past appearances on the show, the first being back in 2011 and performing with The Roots during commercial breaks, saying that it was a big moment for him.
He also remembered being on SNL back in the day with Kanye West. Jimmy Fallon then asked Big Sean to share the story of how he first met Kanye which later led to his signing to G.O.O.D. Music. Big Sean then spoke on the concept behind the cover artwork for his upcoming album, I Decided and gave an in-depth explanation behind it. Saying:
“It’s parallel right there with each other, but the name of the album is ‘I Decided.’ I realized my whole life changed when I decided.” Sean said. “I feel like life is about making right decisions at any point, or the wrong decisions.” “So the album is basically like having that wisdom of an old man while you’re young and going through life & figuring it out.”
