Filmed over a period of 12 years, the long-awaited Boyhood is finally scheduled to be released later this year, and was directed Richard Linklater, the man behind Dazed & Confused and School Of Rock.
The movie is focused on the divorce of a man and woman in Houston, who have to deal with raising their son on separated terms. Starring the likes of Patricia Arquette, Ellar Coltrane, Ethan Hawke and Lorelei Linklater, viewers are taken into the world of the young boy from first grade at age 6 to 12th grade at age 18, while exploring the relationship with his parent through the years.
The motion picture will be hitting theaters on July 11th.
