Have a serious treat this January with upcoming film ‘Cake’.
A few months ago at the Toronto International Film Festival, a few attendees were granted an early premiere and special presentation of Daniel Barnz and Patrick Tobin’s upcoming film, Cake. The forthcoming motion picture is at the top of our list of must-see films to start 2015 and stars Jennifer Aniston in one of her more dramatic roles.
Jen assumes the serious role of Claire Simmons, who’s dealing with her own personal mental issues and comes in contact with a widower Roy to begin a new romantic relationship. His wife Nina, who recently committed suicide, often shows up when Claire least expects it in hallucinations about the possibility of crossing to the other side.
While Ms. Simmons is trying her best to maintain her life with multiple suicide attempts that eventually have her ended up in a hospital, the non-guardian angel of Nina may decide her fate after one last glass of vodka.
Also starring Adriana Barraza, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington – look for Cake’s theatrical arrival this January 23, 2015.
