Imagine how pissed you’d be if the item gets stuck to the spiral hook?
Colorado is at the forefront of the Green Rush in the United States right now and this week, they made history once again. In Eagle County, a weed dispensary named Herbal Elements debuted ZAZZZ, the first weed vending machine in the state.
To prevent abuse or the product getting into the wrong hands, Greg Honan (owner of the dispensary) says they have implemented a system that guarantees a speedy checkout with the proper identification. The machine has high-tech security cameras that make sure the driver’s license coincides with the person swiping the card. The machine will only be located inside dispensaries and will not be available out in public.
Honan emphasizes that with these security measures, it will prevent theft and more speedy checkouts, making it convenient for patients to get their herb dose.
Don’t expect this to go mainstream and be as common as the vending machines that carry Pepsi products and/or chips in them. Recreational use of these type of vending machines may never happen. At least for now, right?
