Last May (for whatever reason), NBC cancelled one of their best shows on TV, Community. The corky comedy gained a cult-like following in recent years, which extended its life-cycle during previous attempts at cancellation by the network. Luckily for long-time viewers like ourselves, web-based streaming is beginning to overtake the traditional way of watching television and Yahoo Screen acted quickly in July to officially renew the series for a season 6. In the video clip above, Jeff Winger returns with his usual suspects from the series (including the hilarious Chang) to formally reassure to fans the show is indeed returning this time on a stable platform.
With new creative freedom and some non-censorship at times, look for the two-episode premiere this March 17th; with new episodes of the new season to arrive every Tuesday to follow.
