The power team of David Fincher & Aaron Sorkin are back at it! Today, it was announced that Fincher was selected to direct the next Steve Jobs biopic, which has been written by Aaron Sorkin. If you remember Fincher and Sorkin teamed up once before, for the Oscar-winning film The Social Network. Though this won’t be the first Steve Jobs biopic, in which Ashton Kutcher starred in 2013 picture Jobs, this film is expected to be viewed in a more serious light.
While the Kutcher-lead film focused on Jobs entire life and his building of Apple; the Fincher and Sorkin piece is rumored to focus on the span of three key events during Jobs life. Those three moments are the keynotes for the first Mac, NeXT and the iPod keynote. There is no word on a cast yet, but filming is expected to get going this year.
