Jimmy Brooks is resurrected in 2016 on netflix
Degrassi: The Next Generation is unfortunately coming an end this summer and fall after 14 years. Since its return to air 2001, the Canadian show helped launch the careers of Drake, Nina Dobrev, Miriam McDonald, Stacy Farber, Lauren Collins and Shenae Grimes. With nearly 400 episodes under its belt, Degrassi begins its final 12 episodes this July 20th on TeenNick, with an hour-long special to brace fans for the inevitable ending.
For two consecutive weeks, fans of the teen-drama can watch new episodes in marathon form every night Monday-Friday – with the series finale airing July 30th. If you’re distraught that the next generation is coming to an end, it won’t be gone for that long. Netflix has struck a deal to land exclusive streaming rights for the complete series, which will be one of its highlights on its service for its 2016 campaign in a few months.
