The Gifted!
Whether the rest of the world is taking this thing serious, FOX is looking to capture of success they’ve built over the last two years with Empire, Gotham, and Lucifer.
X-Men movie director Bryan Singer and franchise producer Lauren Shulder Donner took to social media, and shared a photo of a recent cast reading. She quietly revealed that the they were reading for the upcoming show, Gifted; officially announced the title of the live-action X-Men series.
It’s unclear when production will begin; but given the pilot episode reading this weekend and multiple episodes in the works for FOX, a shoot for early 2018 could be in the works – with shows to air the following the fall. Nothing much has been revealed about the series, with the exception that it’ll focus on a couple on the run from the government; after they discover their child is a mutant.
Surprisingly, the show will indeed be connected to the X-Men Movie Universe; as characters will make several cameos through its initial inception. Coming fall 2019, maybe?
