Now casting: CBS All Access, FOX NOW, HGTV and more!
Last March, Google quietly rolled out casting for TED, MTV and Pac-12 Networks apps. While we weren’t intrigued to give these apps a look at the time due to College Football being on vacation and the lack of depth for classic MTV series from years past, we’re granted some major additions (not named WWE Network).
CBS All Access, FOX NOW, HGTV and Pluto TV are the four new applications that have added the compatibility of Chromecast. On FOX NOW, you’ll be able to stream all of your favorite series like Empire, GOTHAM, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and others. CBS All-Access is also available to cast on your tablets and mobile devices, but unlike FOX, it requires a monthly subscription of $5.99. There are series on the app, however, that are free of charger but to dive back into the vaults require the all-access.
