Winter is here. . .
With production for Game of Thrones season 8 well into development this winter, HBO is trying everything they can to keep everything under wraps. Well, Maisie Williams may have prematurely revealed a premiere date. In a conversation with Metro, the actress who plays Arya Stark, cited that filming will continue throughout next December with a premiere sometime in April 2019.
Williams cited, “We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April. That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes.” As HBO plans to take the entire 2018 off, she closed out saying, “There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all. We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities.”
Look for a possible teaser trailer to emerge later this year.
