Wait, she falls for the drug dealer too?
Around the holidays, usually we see feel-good movies for the family, but Happy Christmas might be a little different, partly because it will be released in the Summer and not November or December. The upcoming Anna Kendrick, Lena Dunham and Mark Webber film deals with a sister who moves to Chicago to live with her older brother and his family, then throws the balance off because she’s irresponsible and has been putting thoughts into the wife’s head about pursuing her novel dreams. The first day she was called on to babysit the 2-year old, she got trashed the night before and was too hungover to do it. But what else do you expect from a young’n?
Considering it’s Rated R, maybe things don’t end too well for Anna Kendrick, but it looks more like a chick flick so it most likely will. The dramedy is directed by Joe Swanberg (Drinking Buddies) and is set to hit theaters nationwide on July 25.
