New Balance has been pushing Kawhi Leonard hard this past year, especially now that he’s in the greater Los Angeles area.
With his newfound notoriety as one of the best players in the NBA, Kawhi is looking to make the success carry over outside of the court. Today, Sports Illustrated‘s Jarrell Harris revealed the new “4 Bounce” sneaker that NB will release this Thursday.

The shoe is inspired by his classic game-winning shot against the Philadelphia 76ers during the Eastern Conference semifinals when he was with the Toronto Raptors.
Interestingly, the sneaker is a mid-top with blue, black and gold, none which are colors that match with the Los Angeles Clippers uniforms.
A little splash of red would have been nice.
