Double trouble
Reese Witherspoon may have just been nominated for Golden Globes and Oscars for Wild, but she’s going the action-comedy route with the upcoming movie Hot Pursuit. Playing the role of a strict and by-the-book cop, she saves the life of a drug boss’ wife (played by Sofia Vergara) and the two go on the run through Texas to evade crooked police and dangerous mob figures. The two contrasting women end up having the adventure of their lives, turning to love interests for refuge after being stranded, all while trying to put up with each other in the process.
The Anne Fletcher-directed film is set to hit theaters May 8, 2015.
