Instagram is rolling out a new change to the app, and you might not like it. Instead of posts from just those you follow (and of course the occasional ad) on your feed, there will now be posts popping up through the “Recommended for You” section.
“When scrolling through Feed, you may see posts that are Recommended for You,” reads the description. “These posts are suggested based on posts liked by accounts you follow.” You can temporarily remove a post by tapping the options button then hide.
Apparently though, recommended posts will only show up when you’ve seen everything from people you follow.
