We’ve been seeing mixed reviews from fans and critics alike for the new 2pac All Eyez On Me biopic and now, one of the closest people to the late rapper is slamming her portrayal and scenes from the film on the day of its release. Jada Pinkett-Smith has come out on Twitter on Shakur’s birthday to say that some of the parts of the movie are untruthful and did not happen.
Forgive me… my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth.

Pac never read me that poem. I didn't know that poem existed until it was printed in his book.

Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn't to pursue his career.

I've never been to any of Pac's shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage.

The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful.

One of the scenes she points out is when 2pac wrote her a poem and recited it to her before going off to California. According to Pinkett-Smith, it never happened. She read it like the rest of us when it came out in the posthumous book The Rose That Grew From Concrete.

She went on to thank Kat Graham and Demetrius Shipp Jr. for the job they did in the movie and said she doesn’t blame them at all for the false portrayals.
She’s not the only one either. 50 Cent trashed the movie even worse on Instagram.
