JAY Z has linked up with The New York Times for a new piece about the war on drugs. In an illustrated visual by Molly Crabapple, Hov serves as narrator and traces back to the days of Richard Nixon in 1971, and the time he was coming of age in 1986 when Ronald Reagan was doubling down on drugs. He talks about the fact that the USA imprisons more people than any other country, more than China, Russia, Iran and Cuba. “The war on drugs is an epic fail,” he closes out with.
