JAY Z Turned Down Super Bowl LII Halftime Show?

After his wife Beyonce set shit off with her own Halftime Show at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans back in 2013, it seems like JAY Z doesn’t want to follow those same footsteps. According to reports, the NFL is not denying the rumors, nor confirming them either.

Here is what the league had to say about the situation.

“No decisions have been made on the performer(s) and we are not going to speculate on particular artists. Along with Pepsi, we know that we will put on a spectacular show. When it is time to announce her name we will do it. Or his name. Or their names.”

Maybe they’re still working out the contract to secure the bag. Maybe the NFL is scrambling because they expected Hov to say yes and he said no. Maybe the league is trying to avoid negative publicity after the whole Ezekiel Elliott mess and the fact they have empty stadiums in California. Maybe Hov wanted to bring out Colin Kaepernick at the half and the league wasn’t having it.

It should be noted that Adele turned down the Super Bowl too, so the league isn’t quite successful when it comes to getting the artists they actually want for their Halftime Show anymore.

Shout out to Jay if he actually did turn them down, though.
