Kick-Ass director, Matthew Vaughn sat down with Yahoo to discuss the state of the Kick-Ass franchise. While the first film generated nearly $100 million in box office revenue, the sequel two years only opened to $13 million in the states. Looking to recapture the magic the original created in 2010, Matthew has revealed an official prequel to series for Hit-Girl is currently in development. The 18-year-old actress and model, Chloë Grace Moretz is set to reprise her role as the most dangerous teenage girl ever. Whether not Nicolas Cage will return for his Big Daddy role remains to be seen, but we’ll keep you up to date any major news regarding the project this year.
