Lena Dunham Interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Director-screenwriter and actress, Lena Dunham was in Los Angeles for a trip to Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. In her first TV interview with Jimmy, Lena opened up on her hysterical plane ride from NYC to share a variety of bizarre things that happened on her flight. After leaving for the restroom to pee during the ride, a flight attendant walked in on her peeing and shrieked, with Lena screaming “This was so much worse for you than it was for me.” After heading back to her seat, she had another bladder issue and accidentally unbuttoned her pants during rest period in the midst of the five hour ride.

The creator of HBO’s hit-series GIRLS is currently working on four-part story for Archie Comics, which the first teaser recently arrived to The New York Times. She opened up on the project being a childhood obsession and one of her dreams growing up. She mentioned having complete freedom in the Archie project, which is also set to take place in the present.

Lena opens up about her EMMYs experience last month in Hollywood, which hindered what she loved doing best every 30 minutes, eating and peeing, but wasn’t allowed to get up for hours. Kimmel said he felt the same way, saying the shows 4 hours long and people are forced to sit through the show. She opened up bringing her parents to the big event and cited her father treating it like a military operation to observe Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad.
