Leonardo DiCaprio’s Role in the Quentin Tarantino ‘Manson’ Movie Explained

Leo x Quentin

Last week, Quentin Tarantino revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio was casted, for a role in his upcoming Manson film. The upcoming Sony project still hasn’t revealed a full cast or plot details.

However, this week, we learn a significant part of what DiCaprio will be doing for Tarntino’s ninth film. Leonardo is set to play an actor who had his own Western show, Bounty Law; which ran from 1958 to 1963. The synopsis continued, citing how the actor’s transition to the movie world didn’t go as he planned, leaving him contemplating a full relocation to Italy.

Margot Robbie has also been asked to portray Sharon Tate, with the role of Roman Polanski’s late wife still up in the air. Deadline also revealed that the film will also be a Pulp Fiction-esque tapestry of Los Angeles, during the summer of the Manson murders. At the moment, Tarantino’s project is set to hit theaters on August 9, 2019, which is the 50th anniversary of Sharon Tate’s death.
