The first trailer for TrueLove, a forthcoming documentary film directed by Alma Har’el, has been released this week. With a theme based around love, the film follows three faulty, separate real-life relationships in Alaska, Hawaii and New York. The roles are played by non-professional actors in the roles of their younger and older selves.
Shia LaBeouf executive produced the film, with Flying Lotus taking charge of the original score.
Alma Har’el directed the 2011 film Bombay Beach and music videos for the likes of Sigur Rós and Jack Penate.
