Last May, The Walt Disney Company revealed the lead actor to their upcoming Star Wars spin-off film, Han Solo. After months of rumors, it was confirmed that Alden Ehrenreich would be assuming the role of the co-pilot of Chewbacca. With the film, still well over 16-months from hitting theaters, more news emerges this weekend, as another co-star has been announced.
Lucasfilm has revealed that Donald Glover has joined the Star Wars Universe and will be starring in the stand-alone Han Solo project, as Young Lando Calrissian in 2018. On top of the success of his hit FX series, Atlanta and a third album still awaiting its release date (see: PHAROS), Glover will be formally introduced to the Lucasfilm fans in the months to come.
Look for the still-yet-to-be-titled Han Solo project on May 25, 2018.
