Martin Scorsese Brings Joe Pesci Out of Retirement

no more shine boxes. . .

For nearly two decades, Joe Pesci exiled himself from Hollywood – making sporadic appearances in the public eye. However, the iconic actor is set to return for his first major project since 1998’s Lethal Weapon 4. Martin Scorsese has now brought Pesci out of retirement, to star in his new crime-drama Netflix film, The Irishman, as he’ll also reunite with Robert De Niro. This marks the fourth film the trio would have worked on together in follow-up to movies: Raging Bull, Goodfellas, and Casino. Al Pacino is also set to have a major role in the mob-themed, as Jimmy Hoffa.

Look for more details about The Irishman to emerge later this year.
