Wolverine. . . .

Remember last August when it was first revealed that FOX would be readying a live-action TV series for the X-Men Universe? Well, originally, the TV-based company was going forward with a show for Hellfire. However, writers leaving the project and creators not seeing eye-to-eye on its creation process, led to FOX just scraping it entirely. Luckily, Marvel has stepped in this time for a hands-on approach, as they tap Burn Notice writer, Matt Nix, to help with the unknown pilot.

We’re still not sure if this will be one of the same two live-action X.M.U. shows that were announced last summer, but information has surfaced on its plot. The story will focus on a two parents, who look to protect their mutant children from being discovered by the government – but the only way to do so is join an underground network of mutants in hiding.

Nix is also set to executive produce X-Men films, which fans can also stay tuned for more details regarding the Legion series on FOX’s subsidiary network, FX.
