Kevin Costner Stars in McFarland, USA in 2015
The forthcoming McFarland, USA will finally make its way into theaters next year, and the trailer for Niki Caro’s film is now available.
Based on a true story, Kevin Costner stars as an inexperienced sports coach, looking to transform an athletics team from the small town in California. The Disney film takes place in 1987, with the coach getting a job at a Latino high school and spotting potential in a group of runners. More than anything, the movie is about bonding as a group, and battling their way through obstacles to the very top.
The trailer includes U2’s “Where The Streets Have No Name,” taken from their debut album The Joshua Tree of the film’s year, with the motion picture due out on February 20th.
