We haven’t caught Michael B. Jordan in a serious role in a while, but he is bringing it for this upcoming film Just Mercy. Based on a true story, the movie brings viewers the tale of Bryan Stevenson, a graduate from Harvard Law that wants to fight for the wrongfully condemned or cannot have proper representation in Alabama. While on the job, he meets Walter McMillian, who is sentenced to death for the murder of a girl that he did not commit. With the help of local activists, Stevenson and company try to make a difference in the world and not send innocent people to jail.
Just Mercy stars Jamie Foxx (as McMillian) and Brie Larson, and will hit theaters December 25.
