If I Stay
From playing the role of Hit-Girl on the popular Kick Ass series, young Chloë Grace Moretz sees one of her first mature roles in the new R.J. Cutler drama, If I Stay. Based on the same novel name by Gayle Forman, she stars as Mia Hall alongside fellow cast mates Mireille Enos, Joshua Leonard, Stacy Keach, Jamie Blackley and Aisha Hinds.
Mia has the unfortunate decision of choosing her dream career at Julliard to pursue music or elope with her boyfriend Adam. In normal movies, you could take a wild guess at what happens next, but instead of joining rebellious boyfriend Adam, Mia has a life changing experience that teases death coincidentally within her own immediate family.
So far, If I Stay has been receiving the highest reception among all new films releasing this weekend, but we’re not sure whether the masses will catch on to a new drama due to its lack of star power; even if it is the best showcase this weekend.
