The One I Love
Rom-Com and drama film, The One I Love finally splashes to theaters after numerous great receptions over the last few months. Since its official premiere last January at the Sundance Film Festival, Charlie McDowell and Justin Lader’s film has been one of the more anticipated projects to arrive in proper form this year. Starring Mark Duplass, Elisabeth Moss and Ted Danson, The One I Love centers on a couple nearing divorce, but escape for the weekend in a vacation in one last attempt to save their relationship. After enjoying the escape from all responsibilities and problems in life around paradise, the two have an unexpected dilemma which puts perspective into their future. Luckily for movie goers this weekend, the film is only 90 minutes; which doesn’t seem overdrawn in storyline emphasis.
