Mark Wahlberg was already set to make much revenue on his new film The Gambler; but now with The Interview seeing a limited release, he could be seeing an over-the-top amount of ticket sales the next 72 hours. Taking the role of literature professor Jim Bennett, the film focuses him living a double life as a high-stakes gambler. After borrowing from a gangster and offering his own life as collateral, Jim’s addiction and latest gamble could be his biggest as a risk taker yet. The upcoming drama-thriller release also stars John Goodman, Brie Larson, Michael K. Williams and Jessica Lange. Undoubtedly if the buzz surrounding the film at the American Film Institute last month was legit, this is a must-watch new release for anyone with time on their hands this holiday weekend.
