Top Five
JAY Z and Kanye West have finally tapped into the film industry, to co-produce their first project together entitled Top Five. Starring Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, Kevin Hart, Adam Sandler, Gabrielle Union, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jerry Seinfeld among many others – the forthcoming comedy is being touted as one of the standout releases this holiday. After a month-long promotional run across the world, Chris Rock may finally be seeing his first critically-acclaimed role. Also a favorite among attendees at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, Rock assumes the role of Andrew Young, who ironically is a comedian turned film star.
While he’s set to reinvent himself as a serious actor in the mainstream, his long-time fiancée Erica Long (Union) persuades him into broadcasting their wedding on TV, to become one of the biggest events in entertainment history. Before that extravaganza happens, Andre is interviewed by journalist Chelsea Brown (and our wife Rosario Dawson) for The New Yorker – which may soon change their immediate future forever.
