Two weeks ago, DreamWorks Animation premiered their animated-comedy project, HOME at the Boulder International Film Festival. While the $132 million project has been in the works since 2008, fans who have been waiting on the project will get their chance to hear Rihanna, Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez, and Steve Martin in the over-the-top project. The film focuses on Captain Smek and his alliance race collective Boov who had to invade Earth to hide from their previous enemy, the Gorg.
The Boov collective runs into a teenage girl Tip (Rihanna), who is trying to locate her mother Lucy (Lopez). In the midst of being in pursuit, Tip accidentally crosses paths with Boov’s enemies and accidentally gives out the location of their location. Whether the Gorg is able to locate the Boov remains to be seen, you can expect some over-the-top animated (also in real 3D) this weekend with children.
