The Imitation Game
Last summer at the 41st Telluride Film Festival, movie watchers were introduced to the British-American historical drama film, The Imitation Game. Based on the story of pioneering computer scientist Alan Turing, the film was met with rave views based on its positivity surrounding the infamous don’t ask don’t tell policy.
While cracking key Enigma codes during World War II against Germany to help the allies, Turing was soon prosecuted for his homosexuality. Following its European premiere at the 58th BFI London Film Festival a few weeks ago, fans in the states will have their chance of finally seeing the upcoming motion picture biographical story starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong.
